The Bolero Brothers' entrancing combination of exquisite Mexican Jalisco harp and heavenly guitar creates passionate, delightful music from and for the heart.
Jim Gonzales, second generation from Valencia, Spain, lets his Spanish heart come through in his clean, distinctive flamenco guitar stylings. Mike Culver-Zebedis of Hungarian decent allows his gypsy spirit to flow through his Jalisco harp strings.
Together, the Bolero Brothers bring passion and artistry to traditional Mexican, Spanish and South American music, as well as contemporary selections. Their repertoire covers the gamut from classic romantic ballads, calypsos, and rhumbas to fiery flamenco dance. They also intersperse a selection of contemporary artists' material (such as Santana, Michael Jackson, Sting, The Beach Boys, Shania Twain, Brian Adams, The Beatles, and Jimmy Buffet.)
With the addition of percussion, The Bolero Brothers can also be a trio. For more intimate occasions, Michael is delighted to play (Jalisco harp) as a solo act.
