Captain & Messina

Scott Slaughter (guitar) and Richard Schmidt (bass) are both life-long musicians. They first met and played together in a Beach Boys tribute band, and they harmonize beautifully. 

As The Captain & Messina, “Doin’ the great duos and a whole lot more!” is their mantra, and they deliver, performing all the great songs of beloved duos such as Simon and Garfunkel, The Everly Brothers, Seals and Crofts, Loggins and Messina, Brooks and Dunn, Lennon and McCartney and dozens of other sweet, harmonious favorites of the 60s, 70s and 80s.
