Having studied music at the Conservatorie of Music Antonio Neumane in Guayaquil, Ecuador, composer and experienced violinist Dany Cobo has spread his music throughout South America and the Caribbean.
In 1996, he relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area where he furthered his talents by studying with the celebrated Jazz violinist David Balakrishnan, founder of the Turtle Island String Quartet.
Danny Cobo has now teamed up with some of the best World and Latin musicians in the South Bay to melt Gypsy Rhumba, Salsa, Flamenco, Latin Jazz, and Pop rhythms into evocative melodies that will lead everyone into a seductive sway. Their music entices listeners and dancers alike, inspiring visions of Spain and the Americas through new approaches to classic Latin compositions. So press play, close your eyes, and catch a daydream to a place where the sangria never runs low and the cool breezes of the Caribbean carry your stress away.
