Dave Holodiloff is a multi-talented individual who is a master mandolinist as well as a guitarist, vocalist and percussionist.
Heralded once as “the hardest working musician in Monterey” by the Monterey County Weekly, Dave regularly plays over 200 performances a year.
His dynamic musical repertoire includes Balkan rhythms, Jazz, bluegrass, Celtic, gypsy, Latin rhythms, traditionals, pop, rock, folk and much more. He can play a diverse selection of acoustic musics from around the world; or focus on just one genre,(such as bluegrass, Celtic or Jazz,) if you prefer.
Dave is available to play in a variety of configurations.
Incredibly entertaining and upbeat as a solo, Dave also frequently adds violinist Elijjah McCullar when playing as a duo.
Juneau Rowe frequently joins on keyboards for The Dave Holodiloff Trio. The trio specializes in bringing high energy to the party. Exploring musical frontiers from California to Calabria, the Monterey Peninsula to Peru, they play an exciting repertoire of originals and world folk fusion on a plethora of instruments including guitar, mandolin, violin, banjo, and percussion. The trio of multi-instrumentalists also sing in a variety of languages.
Dave can also add additional pieces (guitar, bass, banjo, percussion, flute, horns, and more ...) for a larger band (anywhere from a quartet to an octet,) and a very danceable sound.

Though firmly rooted in traditional bluegrass, Dave (mandolin, guitar and vocals) and Elijjah (fiddle and vocals) are not afraid to venture out into various musical styles including Gypsy Jazz, funk, folk, Celtic, and original alternative acoustic creations. Sweet harmonies, fast hoe-downs, and soulful ballads characterize Dave & Elijjah’s ever expanding sound.
