"Thank you for playing the piano at The Monterey Peninsula Country
Club as we celebrated our son's wedding. You were punctual, and
ready to entertain. You played beautifully … thank you for a magnificent
performance."

Jeff and Debi Augustyn
"A million thanks for your great
performance on Friday. The evening was an absolute delight."

Lee and Artie Early
"Just want you to know that everyone
is still talking about the great party and how fabulous your entertainment
was. I cannot imagine how dull it would have been without you! Thank
you so much for staying, and playing virtually non-stop, throughout
what was a much longer evening than I had anticipated. I am looking
forward to the next time. I hope we will see you soon and, again,
tremendous thanks for letting us enjoy your tremendous talent and
have such fun."

Real-life mentor Nat King Cole inspired
pianist-vocalist John Harris to realize his musical goals. Every
performance night, for three years, Harris served as Cole's off-stage
support and confidant.
"Night after night, I watched Cole thrill sold-out audiences all
over the world," says Harris. "His humble stage persona, deep commitment
to his music and exacting piano work, with its intricate simplicities,
inspired me."
Cole, in turn, recognized Harris' talent and gave him solo spots
during the shows. The bond of mutual trust that developed between
the two musicians became a springboard for Harris' own solo career.
He studied with great NBC studio pianists in Hollywood for four
years.
Johnny Mathis and Ann-Margret also recognized Harris' unique talent
as a collaborator and included him as a vocalist in solos and duets
for live stage performances, television and recordings. He also
served as rehearsal pianist and arranger for their choral groups.
Harris emulates the masters of jazz and classical piano. His jazz
styles reflect those of Errol Garner, André Previn and Cole. Harris'
classical offerings include works by Erik Satie, Bach, Pachelbel
and others.
John currently performs for corporate events, weddings and private
parties where his performances consistently win accolades from clients
and audiences young and old.
