Pure Ecstasy was formed in 1991 and the group has been performing nationally and internationally ever since. Check them out in the San Francisco Bay area at such hot spots as Top Of the Mark (Mark Hopkins Hotel), The View Lounge (San Francisco Marriott), Harry Denton's, The Starlight Room, and The Gordon Biersch Brewery to name but a few.
The group has also performed at a number of Napa Valley and Sonoma Wineries as well as many of the beautiful golf & country clubs on the Monterey Peninsula. Currently, Pure Ecstasy can be found in Burlingame, CA at The Broadway Grill, featured every week in their Motown Monday Dinner Show.

"First of all, if you're invited to a wedding and are told you'll experience Pure Ecstasy, you'd better go. These guys are the best party band EVER. From Motown classics to current hits, funky 70s grooves to classic standards, upbeat to slow-tempo songs - they do it all. I've never seen a band get the party started quite like this. We had an instantly full dance floor. Granted, the bride and groom at this particular wedding are fun people who know fun people, but still, guests of all ages seriously got down for hours until the venue shut down. The nonstop boogie-ing prevented me from accurately counting how many members are in Pure Ecstasy, but there are a lot, and they are all very talented.
