Roger Eddy is one of the Monterey Bay area's most talented and professional musicians. This highly respected saxophonist/flautist has been playing for over five decades, and represents the very finest Monterey Bay has to offer when it comes to jazz.
Eddy has appeared at the Monterey Jazz Festival numerous times. He has performed luminaries such as with Huey Lewis, Glenn Frey, Vince Gill, Lou Rawls, Robben Ford, and many more. He has also opened for such renowned acts as Spyro-Gyra, Tom Scott, and Larry Carlton, to name but a few.
From classic jazz standards to smooth contemporary favorites, Roger's saxophone playing in any combination with keyboards, bass, drums and guitar is impeccable.
For weddings and receptions, Roger plays as a duo, playing both flute and sax, and accompanied by either guitar or keyboards. This configuration, known as Duo Serenade, offers a crowd-pleasing repertoire, from lilting, elegant classical favorites for your wedding ceremony to smooth, upbeat, swingin' sounds for your reception.
